The purpose of Earth Hour

well as i surfing my friends blogs,
i found out the real purpose for the whole campaign...
switch off the light for 1 hour doesn't really save the world
but switching it off is symbolize as a vote
a vote between which side u voting for
Earth vs Global warming
This is a world global election
to see how many people actually care about global warming
but as you all can see, by switching off the light for 1 hour doesn't really save a lot of energy

Most people nowadays think Earth Hour is trying to organise this one-hour-a-day thing so that we as a world population can help solve global warming. This is not just a huge ambition, it is ridiculous.

Controlling global warming is not just a flick of the switch away.

If we think one hour a year can save the earth, then let me tell you that this "policy" is as uneffective as the government's fiscal stimulus or advertisements to stop people from smoking. It may have short term benefits (or may not at all), but it will never last long. Most of all, if the purpose is to save the earth, I will think that it is just for show.

well..nothing much i can say since he got a point also...
but anyways switching off the light really does make a lot of different
this really show how many people actually does realise the matter and voting for the EARTH
